The FD700 scan tool is designed specifically for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury cars, which can quickly scan and easily access all systems (engine, SRS, TPMS, ABS, SAS, ESP, TCM, CKP, EPB, EPS, BMS, etc.), while supporting the body, chassis, powertrain, and all control modules. 1. Engine System: The engine determines the power, economy, stability of the car. The FD700 OBD2 scanner can support 6 modes of OBDII functions & check battery voltage. 2. TPMS Reset: When there is a problem with the tire pressure of your car, or when you have inflated the tires to the correct level, the PSI tire pressure monitoring system warning light still lights up for no reason. It can quickly locate tire sensors from the vehicle's ECU, reset tire pressure, and turn off the tire pressure fault indicator light.
3. SRS: The FD700 can read and erase the SRS(Airbag) system error code, turns off the airbag warning light. To prevent the dreadful danger caused by the airbag not working properly after a collision.
4. SAS: SAS Calibration permanently stores the current steering wheel position as the straight-ahead position in the steering angle sensor. The FD700 helps clear the fault steering angle sensor memories and plays an important role in the steering angle sensor calibration.

6. EPB: FD700 scanner can read and clear EPB trouble codes and is capable of retrieving fault codes information from the ECU.

You can make a determination of what could be the causes of the error: low brake fluid, a blown fuse, or abnormal signals from wheel sensors.
The engine oil life system calculates when to replace the engine oil and filter based on the vehicle's usage. When the indicator light on the dashboard lights up, the oil needs to be changed. After changing the oil, the system needs to be reset so that it can calculate the time for the next oil change.
Disregarding the need to register and code for a new battery may result in improper charging. FD700 can help you register a new battery once you replace it, re-match the control module and motoring sensor for battery detecting more accurately, clear original low battery information, and prevent the related control module from detecting false information.
Note: 1. Not all vehicles need to do a battery reset after changing batteries. 2. If the parameters of the new battery are inconsistent with the old battery or the parameters are too different, registration may fail.
If the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light is illuminated, it means your tires could be underinflated, which can lead to undue tire wear and possible tire failure. FD700 car code reader can read and clear TPMS error codes and turn off the TPMS warning light after you replace the tire. (Note: Not every Ford vehicle supports this function. Subject to practice. A pre-purchase inquiry is suggested.)
TPMS Reset: Tire pressure resetting is required to be performed after maintenance is performed.
If the parking brake fails, it is necessary to replace the brake pads by retracting the caliper and moving the caliper back to its original position after maintenance to solve the problem. After replacing the brake pads or repairing the calipers, the FD700 diagnostic tool can help you reset the brake pads.

The ABS light in my 2000 F-150 continued to stay on after I did what I thought was an obvious fix-replaced the pump module. Not knowing what else to do at that point, I contacted Ford service for diagnosis and repair. Before taking it in, I thought possibly a diagnostic tool would tell me what is wrong-it would at least be a way to see if the Ford diagnosis was the same. I ordered the FD700, hooked it up to the diagnostic port, and it told me exactly what was wrong (bad middle rear speed sensor) and a YouTube video showed me how to fix it myself. The local auto parts store carried the part (only $25!) and it took less that an hour to extract the defective sensor and install the new one. Viola! The ABS light is off now.
