ANCEL BST500 12V 24V Battery Analyzer Wireless Electric Circuit Cranking Test
ANCEL BST500 12V 24V Automotive Battery Tester, 100-2000 CCA Car Battery Analyzer for Car, Heavy Duty Truck, Motorcycle, RV
The BST500 battery tester is suitable for cars, marine, motorcycles, lawns, and gardens. Designed for testing 12 V batteries, 12 V and 24 V starting and charging systems, accurate display of battery parameters in about 2.5 seconds to indicate whether the battery is full or weak or should be charged or replaced.
Battery system testers are used for activated-style lead-acid storage batteries, and checking the battery conditions (starting up, charging, electrical loading). A precise circuit and strong digital processing unit make it collect a series of complicated data completely and figure out every test data, which is available by a 4-wire Kelvin test connection. Besides it strengthens input protection inside, in order to prevent such situations as polar reversal connection, over-high voltage input, poor contact of the test clamps, and so on.
ANCEL BST500 battery tester is designed with convenience and broad functionality in mind. In addition to the printer function, it features a wide capability for the purpose of battery diagnosis and maintenance. It works on 12V and 24V battery systems and includes the actual Cold Cranking Amps test, the health status test, and the diagnosis of both starting and charging systems for common faults. It also has an integrated printer capable of printing out test results for improved service. This tool lets you know the condition of the battery system in advance, saving a trip and money to an auto repair shop.
Wide-range Application
The BST500 load tester works on both 12V and 24V automotive batteries, including Lead-acid, regularly flooded, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, gel, and deep cycle batteries, with multiple applications for a broad array of vehicles such as heavy or light-duty trucks, passenger cars, minivans, marine boats, motorcycles.
BST500 Key Features:
- Tests 12V & 24V battery, cranking system, and charging system.
- Supports all battery rating systems - CCA, BCI, CA, MCA, JIS, DIN, IEC, EN, SAE, GB.
- Displays test results in merely seconds, more accurate than the low-priced tester.
- Tests in-vehicle battery and single storage battery.
- Quick starter analysis without disabling the ignition.
- Easy to use and read with a large backlight LCD display and menu-driven operation.
- Detects batteries directly, and gets power directly from the detected battery.
- Clamps feature reverse polarity protection without emitting light, heat, or spark for safe operation.
Enhanced Highlights
Engine System Activation Load Test
Start the engine to make the tester automatically records the lowest voltage. For a 12 V system, the default voltage is 9.6 V; for a 24 V system, the default voltage is 16 V. If the lowest voltage is higher than 9.6 V (for a 24 V system, the lowest voltage is higher than 16 V), the system is OK. If the lowest voltage is lower than the standard voltage, the system is not OK.
System Test at Maximum Load
For the 12V system, the standard voltage is 12.8V, for the 24V system, the standard voltage is 25.6V. If the lowest voltage is higher than 12.8V (for the 24V system, the lowest voltage is over 25.6V), the system runs normally. If the lowest voltage is lower than 12.8V (for the 24V system, the lowest voltage is under 25.6V), please check if the engine belt is damaged and the wires are short-circuited.
Test of the Charging System
For the 12 V system, the standard voltage is 12.8 V and for the 24 V system the standard voltage is 25.6 V. If the lowest voltage is higher than 12.8 V (for the 24 V system, the lowest voltage is higher than 25.6 V), the system runs normally. If the lowest voltage is lower than 12.8 V (for the 24 V system the lowest voltage is lower than 25.6 V), please check if the engine belt is damaged and the cables are short-circuited.
